“Takin’ Care of Business”
I’m
proud to have been serving clients in the life insurance business, (insurance
on people, not on “stuff”), for 30 years now. The business has undergone
constant, and sometimes dramatic, evolution. Life Insurance has many
variations. There are classic “Whole Life” and “Term Life” policies, and
flexible premium “Universal Life.”
Relatively new, and very popular, are “Return-of-Premium” term
policies”. (Get your money back if you stay here on earth!) “Traditional” Annuities are
certainly is still used very often, and “indexed” deferred annuities that let
you share in the returns of the market, yet have guarantees, so that you can’t
lose your money. It’s important to look at the features that exist in “Disability
Insurance,” which pays an income if you can’t work because of an illness or
injury. Long Term Care Insurance has become a major part of my practice,
and is one area that is changing most rapidly.
Policy design and rates are always in flux, so there’s a need to review your insurance to be sure you take advantage of these changes. Nearly every “Life Event,” or a long passage of time, should mean a fresh look at your insurance portfolio. A general review can point out needs for change that might not have been evident.
I represent many fine, strong top rated
insurance companies, and would be glad to answer your questions about Life
Insurance, Disability Income Insurance, Tax Deferred Annuities, Health
Insurance and Long Term Care Insurance. I’m not beholden to any one carrier,
and therefore can look for the “best fit” in a given circumstance.
Creative
Adventures
The other side of my work is the “Musical
Existence”. I have passion for all things musical, and have been ministering as
a Catholic Pastoral Musician in the Detroit area for over 30 years. The talented members of ensembles that I
lead have helped me bring my own compositions to life, and I have developed a
great interest in recording musicians and singers. There’s also the occasional
adventure where I “get down” with “Breakaway”, a band made up of a group of my
longtime friends. “Breakaway” has been helping people have fun at special
events for longer than I can even remember!
